5-Ingredient Breakfast Bowl

I often have to have breakfast on-the-go, and it's often after I've been to the gym or been up and busy for a while. Therefore, I don't have a lot of time to make my breakfast, or if anything, it needs to be prepared the night before so I can be stress-free during working breaks. (It also stops me from buying breakfast options that are more unhealthy, unsatisfying and not filling enough!!) This breakfast pot is so brilliant because it's only made with 5 ingredients, so you're not breaking the bank, yet it will keep you feeling full for a long time (so no need for snacks!) and will also just leave your tastebuds feeling happy and content. I've actually had requests and enquiries into what this pot is made of during breaks at work because I devour it so quickly, and it looks pretty too.

Best combination

Banana and almond butter - it's a winning combination. In fact, it's one I have quite often. It's the sweetness of the banana, mixed with the nuttiness of the almond butter...I'm honestly addicted to it. However, mix in some chewy raisins, some crunchy granola and some creamy Greek yoghurt and it's a winning breakfast. You can choose any particular types of ingredients that you like, but I would personally recommend the following:

  • Oatly Vegan Greek Yoghurt - if you're plant based like me, or at trying to cut down on the amount of dairy you eat, then this yoghurt is the perfect choice. It's still thick and creamy, and has a subtle flavour, but it's incredibly versatile. (It's also great blended into sauces and smoothies!)
  • FUEL Protein Chocolate Granola - so I'm a sucker for granola with a bit of dark chocolate in. It's a bad habit, but it's true and it's something that makes me happy everytime I eat it. This option is also great for me because it's got added protein, so if you exercise a lot, or are looking for other ways of increasing your protein intake, then this would be a great option for you. However, any ofter granolas work just as well, but try and choose options that aren't as sweet and filled with as much sugar.
  • Pip & Nut Almond Butter - this is THE BEST almond butter to exist. Period. There's absolutely no way of getting around it. Using almonds sourced from California, this particular brand has a strong and deep focus on sustainable production, supporting food communities and food banks and placing good health at the forefront of every mission. "Better nuts. Better taste. Better business." Whilst these pots and jars may be slightly more expensive than some others, they last a long time, are ethically made and are super duper delicious. It's an absolute no brainer.
