Chocolate and Peanut Protein Energy Balls

These energy balls may be small, but they are mighty in terms of flavour, protein content and ability to satisfy your hunger cravings. Get ready to get your hands stuck in and dirty, because it's definitely 100% worth it!

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 100g ground almonds
  • 100g raisins
  • 120g dried apricots
  • 50g oats (old muesli also works!)
  • 200g chocolate protein powder (approx. 4-5 scoops worth)
  • 30g cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp runny honey

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend together the raisins, dried apricots, ground almonds and melted coconut oil until everything has been pulsed and everything has disintegrated into a mix.
  2. Add in the rest of the ingredients and mix together until fully combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into balls (these should be slightly smaller than golf balls) and place in a container. Once all the balls are rolled, place the container in the fridge and refrigerate for 1-2 hours before eating.
